Peach cobbler! So I have never had peach cobbler, never made it, and... I think the last time I had a peach was in 5th grade. Anyways this was another instant my boyfriend and I were cooking for several people so we decided to go for it since they are in season. It is quite tasty and the crust is amazing!

Peaches are in season! Time to make some peach cobbler. But to make a good peach cobbler, got to peel some peaches. Here is a fast, simple way to do it. Make sure to have ripe peaches or this will not work.

I have never been a huge fan of coleslaw, but I decided to give this recipe a try specifically for the blue cheese and the small amount of vinegar. And for someone who is on the edge of being anti-cabbage, I really liked this. The blue cheese is just enough so you get a hint of it over the mayo. I highly recommend to toss the coleslaw on top of any BBQ sandwich (in this case a smoked BBQ chicken sandwich).

If you follow my blog, you know I have a slight obsession with artichokes. This is the first time I have ever marinated or grilled them. They turned out amazing! Definitely going to make these again. And no artichoke is complete without some sort of dipping sauce. I made three different sauces; garlic mayo, garlic herb butter, and a sun dried tomato sauce. All of these sauces are simple to make and add a nice punch to the artichokes. Please note I was cooking these for 40 people so the pictures show a lot more than the recipes actually calls for.

I love jicama! If you have never heard of it, it is an edible tuberous root with the texture of a raw potato but sweet. It is excellent on salads or just eating it raw by itself too. This is a quick how to on how to cut up jicama.
