Gift in a Jar

I have always loved these. Simple recipes in a jar that only require the addition of one or two ingredients. Below we have Pasta Soup, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies and one full of various doggie treats for our puppy friend.

Doggies like Christmas presents too! I made a label with indicating what each layer of treats are.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies:
1 (4 c.) mason jar
1.25 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
3/4 chopped macadamia nuts
1 c. white chocolate chips

Pasta Soup:
1 (4 c.) mason jar
2 Tbsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground black powder
1/4 c. dried onions
1/3 c. beef boullion granules
3.5 c. tri-color pasta

2. Add pasta.

3. Write recipe instructions on construction paper.
          8 c. water
