Drink of the Month: Red Wine Hot Chocolate

This is a quick, throw together recipe full of flavor. Plus why not throw together chocolate and wine?


One quick note on this recipe, make sure to use a wine with a low acidity. Using a high acidity wine will cause the milk to curdle.

Red Wine Hot Chocolate:
1.5 c. milk
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. red wine

1. In a small sauce pan over medium heat, warm up the milk.


2. Add in chocolate chips and whisk continuously until it chocolate is melted and combined.


3. Stir in red wine.


4. Enjoy!
